The Nicatous Lodge is located on the pristine shores of Nicatous Lake and at the head of the Nicatous Stream, 65 miles northeast of Bangor, Maine. Established in 1929, the Nicatous Lodge has been in continuous operation ever since. The Nicatous Lodge is the perfect location for group events such as family reunions, weddings, corporate outings and other large gatherings. Our property can accommodate groups as large as 40 from May through October and groups as large as 20 during the winter months. We do not rent the property to groups smaller than 10. The Nicatous Lodge is a perfect destination for people who are looking to connect with one another in a comfortably remote, outdoor setting. We are accessible to Bangor International Airport and less than 30 miles from Route 95.

Nicatous Lodge guests have direct access to bountiful wilderness right outside the doors of your cabin. You can hit the hiking trails for a scenic walk and enjoy the birds chirping or a moose striding along the landscape feeding on various plants. We have excellent access to salmon & trout fishing so be sure to bring your favorite fly rod so you can get a few casts in. We have boats and fishing gear available for our lodge guests that are looking to catch quality fish. The lodge also makes available kayaks & canoes for exploring the lake and islands in front of the lodge.
