There are plenty of bear around these parts.

Moose
We are in and near sections 18 & 19. Big bulls and cow moose just minutes away from the Lodge. Come up early to scout them out or hire a guide.

Not only is the foliage here, but bird season is busy with the geese flying south as well as mallards, teals, wood and black ducks. Woodcock and partridge to challenege you or your dog in the woods.

Deer
Starts the last week of October.

The area we are in is known for some of the largest Whitetail deer in Maine. This brings our regulars back season after season for the "Big One," and challenges our newcomers.

If you hold a doe permit we are only minutes from the section.

Hunting is also available throughout the year for racoon, bobcat and coyote.
